    Responsibilities

    Our professionals help our clients transform their business processes, improve internal controls, improve efficiency of operations, increase transparency and performance management, and to comply with Federal laws and regulations.  During your internship assignment, you will be given the opportunity to support projects to address some of the most significant project challenges faced federal clients. The nature of our projects is extremely fluid and requires self-motivated individuals that are willing to develop solutions on their own or in a team of highly skilled professionals.  Project members are provided the opportunity to interact with our clients' senior management, as well as the opportunity to enhance their skills in the area of technical competency, business development, client service and people development.

    Qualifications

    Our internship is a 9-10 week program, running from the beginning of June to the beginning of August. Through the internship program, you will have the opportunity to work within one of our seven sectors:

    • Science and Infrastructure
    • State and Local Government
    • Operations

    Throughout the internship, you will have the chance to work with our internal teams on the assigned project/contract, meet with upper management to reflect on your personal and professional development, and socialize with your fellow interns during outings/activities.

     

    Internship Overview:

     

    This internship is for our Advanced Solutions Technology Sector. Located in Washington, DC Office.  

     

    As an intern you will develop client and Guidehouse applications and prototypes.

     

    You will work  with the Digital and Emerging Tech leadership team to build out applications and prototypes for clients and as part of the Guidehouse Innovation Lab, research and test emerging technologies, present demos of solutions developed and research findings.

     

    Throughout the course of the summer you will gain experience in building applications for clients and testing emerging technologies to solve client challenges across industries (e.g., healthcare, financial services, energy, defense, etc.).

     

    Through this internship you will gain knowledge in Agile design and development, rapid protyping, emerging technology research and development. You will gain experience in working with a diverse team of creative designers, developers, and consultant to build applications and solve interesting client challenges.

     

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Must have completed 60 credits or above, OR in a Graduate level program prior to the start date of internship
    • Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or above
    • Must be enrolled in a FULL TIME accredited Undergrad University or at minimum in a part time Graduate program
    • Must have a declared major
