    Responsibilities

    Build the future of Data Science as part of the Artificial Intelligence Center of Excellence (CoE). The CoE is a unique team within Guidehouse, focusing on solving our client’s most important challenges using Data and Advanced Analytics, AI, and Automation. As one of the top Public Sector professional services firms, the CoE works on a huge variety of projects; from predictive analytics models to support our healthcare and financial services divisions, to open source analysis for federal agencies, and deep learning initiatives for advanced analysis. As part of Guidehouse’s Data Analytics team, you will work on high-impact and high-visibility projects, helping to shape not only Guidehouse’s current business, but its long term strategy.

     

    You will play a key role in growing an Artificial Intelligence practice in one of the world’s largest public sector consulting companies as well as in helping transform whole agencies and industries as we help customers charter their digital transformation journey. You’ll do strategy consulting with higher leverage and without the travel.

     

    • Conduct assessments of the AI and Automation market and competitive landscape
    • Quickly identify and analyze key trends by pulling together disparate information and research
    • Develop original and insightful analyses and business model frameworks
    • Pull together information from our Data Scientists and other experts to generate thought leadership on the major shifts in the technology industry
    • Collaborate with experts and stakeholders across the organization (e.g., product teams, business development, business planning) as well as externally (e.g., industry analysts, partners, customers)
    • Deliver insightful recommendations in a concise, and persuasive manner
    • Build consensus and effectively influence senior-level stakeholders
    • Support capture, marketing, and other business development efforts.
    • Supporting staffing and recruiting efforts for the AI COE
    • Helping productize and sell AI solutions across the public sector.

    Qualifications

    Required: 

     

    • Understanding of advanced analytics and Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning (AI/ML) landscape
    • 3+ years industry experience in top-tier management consulting, investment banking, finance, corporate strategy, product management or related business fields
    • BA/BS degree with a strong academic background
    • Demonstrated hypothesis-driven problem-solving orientation with exceptional ability to create structured quantitative and qualitative analyses
    • Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to formulate insights around complex business problems with senior audiences
    • Passion for technology. Technical/product management experience a plus
    • Passion for technology, with some form of technical or software experience a plus
    • A ‘question the status quo’ and entrepreneurial mindset
    • Strong personal initiative and good judgment; desire to succeed in a demanding environment
    • Ability to adapt quickly and work independently
    • Desire to continuously learn and develop skills
    • Familiarity with using Jira, Slack, Sharepoint and other collaborative tools

     

    Desired: 

     

    • Experience with R, SAS, Python, and/or Tableau
    • Experience working with AWS or Microsoft Azure
    • Advanced degree in technology, data science or similar
    • AGILE or SCRUM certification
    • PMP Certification
