    Responsibilities

    Our professionals help our clients transform their business processes, improve internal controls, improve efficiency of operations, increase transparency and performance management, and to comply with Federal laws and regulations. The nature of our projects is extremely fluid and requires self-motivated individuals that are willing to develop solutions on their own or in a team of highly skilled professionals.  Project members are provided the opportunity to interact with our clients' senior management, as well as the opportunity to enhance their skills in the area of technical competency, business development, client service and people development.

    Qualifications

    Required:

    Minimum Years of Experience: 5+

    Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor’s degree

    • Possesses oral and written communications skills
    • Heightened attention to detail, and the ability to create and edit technical and non-technical written work products and graphical presentations
    • Ability to synthesize information quickly and learn new skills

     

    Desired:

    • Prior experience working within or consulting for a federal agency
    • Analytics and skills necessary to allow for business process optimization
    • Ability to assist clients in change management related to business process improvements
    • Demonstrates proven knowledge and success in advising federal clients in improving financial management business processes.
    • Knowledge of the federal environment and common regulations and guidance. Demonstrated capabilities performing business process reviews and re-engineering, documenting processes, and developing Policy and Procedure documentation.  

     

    Degree(s) Preferred:  Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration

     

    Certification(s) Preferred:  CPA, PMP, Six Sigma, ISO

     

    Knowledge Preferred:

    Ability to analyze detailed finance and accounting processes to identify improvement opportunities and promote efficiency and compliance. Ability to develop business process documentation and related guidance.

    Ability to assist the federal government in performing change management and improvement actions necessary to improve effectiveness and efficiency of functions.  Ability to assist with implementation to allow for program effectiveness.

    Demonstrates proven thorough abilities and success with identifying and addressing client needs: actively participating in client discussions and meetings; communicating a broad range of Firm services; managing engagements including preparing concise, accurate documents and balancing project economics management with the occurrence of unanticipated issues.
