    Our Finance consultants help clients optimize all elements of their finance organization, including operating model design, sustainable cost reduction, financial planning and analysis, management reporting, financial systems architecture, and full scale finance transformation.     Minimum Education/ Certification

    ·         Bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to the tasking.


    Professional Experience

    ·         These individuals shall possess a minimum of five years progressive experience in supporting change management, strategic communications, business process reengineering, or financial management systems implementation initiatives, including three years’ experience managing projects. 

    ·         These individuals manage and execute projects and provide guidance and direction for specific projects or sub-tasks.  

    ·         They review all documentation prepared by more junior personnel and are responsible for initial drafting of final project reports prior to submission for approval.  They prepare work products of high complexity.  They assume responsibility for coordination of subordinate activities, monitor project performance and staff relationships, interface with the client on a day-to-day basis, conduct performance reviews of other less experienced staff, and correct errors identified during acceptance process.



    • Create and/or update protocol documents such as PBC/Sample/Follow-up review protocols, communication plan, FIAR ARC Tool contingency plan, PII & PHI protocol, auditor request assignment protocol, etc.
    • Coordinate timely collection, review, and submission of PBC documentation to fulfill auditor requests.
    • Facilitate site visits and walkthroughs.
    • Review Auditor’s observations, Notice of Findings and Recommendations (NFRs), and facilitating meetings between auditor and reporting entities to discuss results ensuring reporting entities understand the findings and start preparing corrective action plans.
    • Prepare the Agency-Wide Management Representation Letter and Legal Representation Letter by coordinating with DoD Components and legal counsel.
    • Provide OUSD(C) leadership with insight into audit progress, findings, impediments, and successes.

    Experience Preferred:


    • Experience with DoD.
    • Experience supporting Financial Management projects.
    • Experience in coordinating timely collection, review, and submission of documentation to fulfill auditor requests.
    • Experience in facilitating site visits and walkthroughs.
    • Experience in reviewing consolidated audit observations/NFRs and facilitating meetings between auditors and entities to discuss results.
    • Experience in preparing Management Representation Letters.
    • Experience in providing leadership with insight into audit progress, findings, impediments, and successes.
    • Experience working on SSAE No. 18 and financial statement audits.
    • Experience responding to IPA PBC requests.
