    Responsibilities

    Experience analyzing large quantities of excel based data, identifying and fixing data quality / completeness issues in excel, and can summarize/report on data to determine recommended courses to increase the quality of data received from field offices and headquarters components. An understanding of the SharePoint environment, R, Tableau, and/or Python is preferred, but not required. Strong excel skills relating to the manipulation of data, review of data, and creating pivot tables/charts is required. Macro based excel skills may also be beneficial but not required. Raw data and recommendations will need to be validated through communication with federal personnel nationwide, so strong communication skills are necessary.

     

    The individual will need to be capable of clearly summarizing and presenting data to the team and make recommendations on approaches to data quality activities based on the data received and the assigned areas of responsibility (both oral and written).

    Qualifications

    Required:  

     

    • Position contractually requires a US Citizen who can clear suitability at the client site. 
    • BS degree in a related discipline and 1 to 3 years of experience. 
    • Good critical thinking skills, writing skills, and communication skills
    • Highly proficient with Excel and have experience with data analysis, data cleansing/normalization
    • Experience working within a team

     

     

    Desired:  

    • Familiarity with developing data quality / completeness metrics, reports, and dashboards
    • An understanding of the SharePoint environment, R, Tableau, and/or Python
    • Active Public Trust
