Experience analyzing large quantities of financial and acquisition based data in excel and can summarize/report on data to determine recommended courses of action relating to the acquisition of services. These summaries will be incorporated into models by team members based on an overarching approach to the acquisition life-cycle for a federal client. A background in government or commercial acquisition and source selection is beneficial, but not required. Strong excel skills relating to the manipulation of data, review of data, and creating pivot tables is required. Macro based excel skills may also be beneficial but not required. Raw data and recommendations will need to be validated through communication with federal personnel nationwide, so strong communication skills are necessary. The individual will need to be capable of clearly summarizing and presenting data to the team and make recommendations on approaches to acquisition activities based on the data received and the assigned areas of responsibility (both oral and written).
