    Professionals in Guidehouse Public Sector may be subject to a government security investigation and may need to meet related eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Our Information Management consultants help clients maximize the value of their data. This high performing team helps clients define their information strategy, architecture and governance, get the most value from business intelligence and analytics, and implement enterprise content and data management solutions to reduce cost and complexity, increase trust and integrity, and improve operational effectiveness.



    • At least 9 years of work experience
    • Supports the design of an extensive and saleable data architecture driven by business function to make diverse parts work together and to facilitate the flow of data across the enterprise establishing the enterprise blueprint
    • Supports the documentation and design of high performance data flows from system to system/database to database
    • Develops architecture framework to improve the quality of the data, define standards that will allow client to integrate a mix of data to achieve business objectives
    • Develops conceptual arrangement of all business’ data into subject areas, the relationships among that data, and the logical grouping of the processes that use that data from a business perspective
    • Maintains knowledge of data architecture components, recognizes when modifications must be made and suggests new data architecture standards
    • Creates an architecture that supports and advocates self-service business intelligence environments
    • Coordinates with Database Engineers to further develop physical models; Identifies initial data access paths of the physical data models
    • Five to seven years of experience in developing conceptual, logical, and preliminary physical models for an enterprise (i.e., Enterprise Data Architecture) and solutions (i.e., Solution Data Architecture)
    • Five to ten years of experience in developing data architecture to accommodate unstructured and structure data sources, as well as streaming data sources
    • Experience defining cloud-based data architecture
    • Resolves data architecture problems through identification, assessment and resolution, and changes and upgrades

    • Experience with Cloudera / Hortonworks products, and strong working knowledge of industry leading big data tools
    • Experience implementing and managing master data management technology
    • Knowledge of DAMA DMBOK, CMM Data Management Maturity Model, EDM Council DCAM
    • Data Management certification from an industry recognized standards organization
    • Relevant industry certifications demonstrating knowledge of data architecture and big data architecture
