    Serves as a front-end developer for solutions, collaborating with other development and design team members on an Agile software team. Applies industry best-practices, techniques and methods to software development including writing maintainable, testable JavaScript code. Liaises with Office of Technology & Innovation (T&I) staff to identify and resolve technical issue





    Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Information Systems, Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, or other related quantitative field of study.



    Four years of demonstrated relevant experience with web development and related activities across a number of industries. Expertise with a combination of multiple web development technologies and languages such as HTML, CSS and Frameworks (LESS, SASS), React, Angular, JQuery, NodeJS, D3, Leaflet, and/or Mapbox. Knowledge of Django / Python is not required but is desirable. Experience as a member of an Agile (Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc.) software development team. Experienced user of revision control systems specifically GitHub / GitHub Enterprise and developing software with teams using pull request model is desirable but not required. Four years of experience in developing navigation, interfaces (for different types of screens/user-end experiences on different devices e.g., tablet, mobile, multi-browsers) and layouts that are focused on user needs.
