    Responsibilities

    This position will be one of a team of consultants engaged with a Federal government client in programmatic support services to deliver project management, data analysis, strategic planning and risk management and evaluation tools for projects within the client’s real property portfolio. The position will assess the Federal government client’s capacity to execute strategic priorities, and assess current state operations within the program office to identify opportunities for improvement and develop strategies for improving coordination and project execution. The candidate for this position will be expected to demonstrate a strong foundational knowledge of the client’s operating environment to effectively inform delivery strategy and work product and deliverable development. Additionally, the candidate will be expected to lead themselves and other team members, regularly engage with the client to discuss contract status, work products and priorities, and demonstrate critical thinking skills to determine when to escalate risks and issues to leadership for quick resolution.

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • Bachelor's Degree from an accreddited institution
    • Communication skills that enable interfacing with the client on a daily basis, as well as participating in presentations and trainings on team work products
    • Knowledge of management consulting approaches and techniques for risk management, project management, and process improvement
    • Strong analytical mindset to enable proactive analysis of business processes and business data to identify opportunities for efficiency and improvement; ability to analyze large sets of data using a variety of tools
    • Experience building, operating and enhancing project management and risk evaluation and analysis tools at the project and program level
    • Ability to direct the completion of projects within estimated time frames, coordinate efforts with other team members and stakeholders, and review and approve work products for quality, completeness, and adherence to customer requirements
    • Ability to quickly assimilate to client’s operating environment and understand the business issues and challenges of client's organization and industry

     

    Desired:

    • Experience in transportation industry
    • Experience with managing and leading resources
