    Responsibilities

    This position is a Senior Program Scheduler for the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center. Duties include applying knowledge and experience in acquisition management and program master scheduling, policies, and procedures to Air Force systems, subsystems, and acquisition programs throughout their life cycles. Scheduling responsibilities will include:

    • Serves as the Program Master Scheduler
    • Generates and Maintains Top Level Program Schedules
    • Supports Program Office in EACs/PMRs/Metrics
    • Plans, Prepares, Issues, and Controls Program Schedules
    • Manages Prioritization for Conflicts
    • Identify Conflicts & Scheduling Priorities
    • Performs Risk Analysis, Critical Path Analysis, and Logic Conflicts
    • Provides Detailed Information in Daily Program Meetings Relative to Schedules
    • Produces Data Reports as Required

    The candidate may also be required to perform a wide range of program management activities, such as: gathering a variety of program information; conducting analyses; assisting in acquisition strategy planning; tracking, and scheduling; implementing contractor performance status systems; assisting in establishing and maintaining databases; assisting in developing and analyzing key program metrics; assisting in developing and integrating risk management plans and strategies; supporting program briefings; assisting in determining program progress; and effectively communicating recommendations orally and in writing to higher organizational management.

    Qualifications

    Required:

    BA/BS in Project Management, Business, related field, with six (6) years related experience in a field relevant to functional area; or a Master's degree and five (5) years' experience in a field relevant to functional area; or eighteen (18) years in functional area without a degree. At least five (5) years of that experience must have been performed on DoD programs/projects.

     

    Security Clearance: Role Requires Ability to Obtain a Secret Security Clearance Level

    Desired:

    • Proficiency with Computer Automated Scheduling Systems (i.e. OpenPlan, MSProject, Shop Floor Control Database/Software, etc.)
    • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, Access and other office information systems; possess an understanding of software engineering terminology
    • Proficiency with ERP/MRP Systems
