    Responsibilities

    • Identify improvements that maintain internal controls and withstand audit scrutiny.

     

     

    • Provide project management support, to include communications, project planning and tracking from project inception through implementation.

     

     

    • Provide support to a dynamic financial management initiatives group, supporting clients with business process improvement to address government-wide or client-defined objectives.

     

     

    • Facilitate process improvement efforts across a variety of financial management, operational, and system stakeholders.

     

     

    • Evaluate and document existing processes.

     

     

    As needed, perform sampling to validate to-be processes are working effectively.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Years of Experience: 3

    Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor’s degree

    Degree(s) Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

    Security Clearance: Top Secret

     

    • Demonstrates abilities and success as a team member: creating a positive environment by monitoring personal workloads, while meeting client expectations; keeping leadership informed of progress and issues.

     

     

    • Has the ability to identify and address client needs: building solid relationships with clients; developing an awareness of Firm services; communicating with the client in an organized and knowledgeable manner; delivering clear requests for information; demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks; and communicating potential conflicts to a supervisor.

     

     

    • Demonstrates proven knowledge and success in advising federal clients in improving financial management business processes. Knowledge of the federal environment and common regulations and guidance. Demonstrated capabilities performing business process reviews and re-engineering, documenting processes, and developing Policy and Procedure documentation.

     

     

    • Demonstrates a willingness to learn and participate in business development activities and internal firm objectives.

     

     

    • Audit experience required

     

     

    • SharePoint experience preferred

     

     

    • Momentum experience preferred
