Our Engineer consultants help FEMA recovery efforts with (1) technical assistance to develop projects that support the restoration and mitigation of infrastructure, public facilities and services, (2) develop innovative methods, approaches, ideas, and guidance to providing technical assistance to advance FEMA’s goals of reducing disaster losses and simplifying the grant process, and (3) provide efficient and effective management and administration of the overall project to ensure timely deployment of trained and qualified professionals, high quality services, and exceptional customer service, while adhering to budget and schedule constraints.
The Construction Project Manager will support FEMA Public Assistance projects to include but not limited to construction, design/build, architecture and engineering of large and complex construction projects.
Must have a professional registration, a degree in Engineering (Structural, Mechanical and/or Civil) and a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in engineering management.
Experience identifying and understanding relevant local and federal regulations, standards, and codes, such as:
Uniform Building Code, International Building Code; and Americans with Disabilities Act requirements.
Knowledge and understanding of FEMA Public Assistance Program law, regulation and policy and FEMA Pubic Trust Clearance within last 12 months preferred.
